Home Care Assistance of Annapolis has proudly selected Lois Ewke for Caregiver of the Month because she has shown much compassion and joy in her caregiving and is loved by our clients. Lois recently sent us a video of her playing guitar and singing a song she wrote to one of our clients – a 77 year old woman with advanced Alzheimer’s. In the short video, our client was laughing and clapping her hands while Lois sang to her and it was truly amazing to watch.
A Few Words from Lois
Being the first born of my parents, I learned so much how to take care of my siblings, parents and grandfather. All those experiences made me have pleasure to give care to people especially those who cannot help themselves. One of my favorite activities to do with clients is singing. The best part about working for Home Care Assistance is that they treat their staff with dignity and respect, which inspires me to belong to their team.
Changing the Way the World Ages
